McKenzie family Christmas tradition

Every year since McKenzie’s first home opened in 2000, Mary-Ann McKenzie along with family members and friends help decorate most of our McKenzie Christmas trees.

This years festive season looks a little different around our homes. Due to travel restrictions, Mary-Ann and daughter, Casey could only continue on the tradition for our six Victorian homes.

Our Queensland and New South Wales homes would not miss out completely though. They were given the ‘secret manual’ on how to decorate their trees the McKenzie way, which as you can see from the photos below, is pretty amazing.

Mary-Ann says “Christmas time is my favourite time of the year, and I really enjoy being able to spread the Christmas cheer in our homes”.

We hope to see the ‘McKenzie Elves’ back in our homes next year, continuing on this special family tradition.
