Raffles is inspired by the lush tropical haven of Singapore’s Raffles Hotel. Residents here enjoy tending our Japanese garden and raised vegetable beds, or meandering along the paths that wind through our abundant tropical grounds. Located at the end of a quiet gated community, we share a close connection that feels like a family.

Raffles provides the highest quality care in aged care. Independently assessed by the Australian Government’s Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC), Raffles is where our residents come first in both quality of care, and choice.

How do we compare?
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) assess all Government subsidised aged care providers.
It is important to know:
41% of Site Audits across Australia find at least one non-compliance.
32% are re-accredited for less than the maximum three years.
Raffles has achieved full compliance across all Standards, receiving the maximum re-accreditation period of three years.
We encourage you to visit the ACQSC website and compare the other local providers in the area so you can make the best decision for you and your family.
Dining with choice and quality
Every mealtime is an occasion at our McKenzie communities. Committed to providing choice and variety, our meals are made in house by dedicated and trained staff, supporting local suppliers and growers to provide the very best dining experience for every resident.
Our seasonal menus are designed in consultation with industry leading dietitians, and with the feedback and input from our residents. We ensure there is choice and variety at each meal service. We also cater for special dietary and cultural needs where appropriate.
Quality food and dining play a large role in our McKenzie homes, and we include fun food experiences within our lifestyle program. Our Lifestyle team coordinate many activities which include happy hour, cultural days, BBQs, and many more where food is a central part to these fun and social occasions.

At Raffles, you get to choose what your day will look like. You can choose to stay as active as possible by participating in our varied and creative activities, or relax by walking in the garden, reading a book or attending a concert at the home. Our lifestyle activities are always focused on keeping your mind and body active, while providing an important opportunity for social interaction. Our programs may vary from time to time because we listen to the feedback from residents and tailor each lifestyle program to their specific interests and hobbies.
Spirituality plays an important role in our homes. We offer traditional religious connections including, but not limited to, in-house church services that cater to many denominations, communion, and bible group meetings. As a resident, you may engage in spiritual activities that facilitate meaning, connection, and add value to your life which can be achieved through prayer, meditation, and relaxation techniques.
We recognise the importance of resident choice and our lifestyle programs aim to deliver activities that everyone can enjoy. Raffles has an active Facebook page where we share what the community is up to, in addition to providing an opportunity for residents and staff to connect.

At Raffles, we offer the very best in care and environment. Still, we understand how important it is for you to continue to live life on your terms. Retaining the ability to make your own decisions and choices contributes to better health and wellbeing, mentally and physically.
The McKenzie Choice+ Additional Services menu places you in control of the things in your day that makes you feel happy, healthy and empowered.
You can purchase any number of additional services at any time from a selection of itemised offerings. The Choice+ Additional Services menu is entirely optional…It is your choice! No obligation. No packages. No hassles!
If the purchased service is no longer required, it’s as easy as cancelling the order with 30 days notice. No penalties. No fees.
Many other aged care providers enforce mandatory additional service packages with a room booking, but at McKenzie, the choice is with the resident.
You only pay for what you want.
